Marmorino
How is Marmorino applied?

Marble stucco is made of natural lime and marble dust. To apply it on the walls we need a rough primer, a bucket of Venetian stucco, a pair of sandpaper, a spatula, a trowel and a masking tape to protect it.
We must make sure that the wall where the stucco is to be applied is in good condition, that is, that it is clean and free of irregularities and cracks.
Afterwards, we mix the stucco with the mixer and with the dye to give the desired color to the surface.
We apply the primer evenly with a roller. Then a first layer of stucco with the trowel as evenly as possible and avoiding the paint coming out on the sides. We wait a few hours for the first coat of marmorino to dry and remove any impurities with a spatula until the surface is smooth. We can also use sandpaper.
We spread another coat following the same process used previously, ensuring that the wall is straight and we wait twenty-four hours for the surface to dry. Afterwards, we remove any impurities again with the spatula and clean the dust with a cloth.
Finally, we apply the final coat of marmorino, pressing gently with the stainless steel trowel.
